This policy outlines the data that GlobalCasinoRank processes when you visit our site globalcasinorank.com ("the site", "we"). It was last updated on 31 August 2026. Changes are recorded at the bottom of this page.
What we collect - and what we do not
Our site is a read-only publication with no user accounts, registration, comment system, newsletters, forms, or data submission to us. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels. We do not set any cookies (for more information see our Cookie Policy).
There are two types of data that we must disclose.
- Server logs. Like virtually every website, the server that hosts this site records standard technical logs of requests: the requesting IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser's user-agent string. We use these logs only for security and to keep the site working, and they are routinely deleted as part of normal server rotation. They are never used to build profiles of visitors.
- Email you send us. If you write to our contact address, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it solely to read and answer you. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share your address or your message with third parties. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for handling the matter - corrections, for example, are kept as the evidence trail for the change they produced.
Affiliate links and what happens after you click
Links to casinos on our site are directed through our internal redirect domains (addresses starting with /go/). A click on a link directs you to the casino's website with a tracking parameter. This parameter will tell the casino that the visit originated from us; this is how affiliate marketing works and this is disclosed on each page. Once you land on the casino's website, that casino's Privacy Policy and Cookies apply, and we do not collect or manage any of your data. The same applies to all external sites we link to, whether they are regulatory agencies or support organisations.
Your rights
Since we hold no data about visitors, most data rights have nothing to attach to. The one exception is correspondence. We can provide the information you're requesting regarding emails if you contact the email address below. This may include providing a record, or copies, and we would delete any record upon request unless there is an override (a published correction for example) that requires us to keep that record.
Third-party processing
The site and email services are provided by hosting and email providers. The hosting provider processes the server logs described above as part of providing the service, and the mail provider processes messages in transit and storage. We select providers using regular commercial practices and do not grant anyone access to correspondence beyond what operating the service requires.
Children
This site is only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, which includes minors; if a minor has emailed us, we delete the correspondence on discovery.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever begins something this policy states that it will not do - for example, begin conducting analytics - this page will be updated first, with a dated change log entry below before the change is made.
